Tackling Inequalities in the Community

Medau submitted a project to Sport England whereby we would produce a DVD specifically for Residential and Care Homes to be distributed via the November edition of Care Homes Magazine with a"prequel" article to go in the September edition.

We were very honoured to be awarded by Sport England £24,000.00 to fund the project

On 8th September filming took place In Oxted Surrey, with sessions taken by Margaret Charlwood, Jo Power and Jane Seyler. The professional videographer was very impressed by all three teacher"s professionalism 

On viewing the first cut of the video one of our EMD colleagues sent this message

"Just wanted to say I have watched the Medau videos.  Those teachers are incredible, they're so personable, knowledgeable, and make exercise fun.  It's refreshing to watch a concept that is not loud and fast.  I love Jo, Jane and Margaret. They're ACE.  So there you go its official SUPERSTARS.

We certainly hope that those residents who use the DVD will get a lot from the film and really do have FUN
